El primer Festival Alpino de los Pastores de <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Unspunnenfest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Unspunnen <\/a>en 1805 marc\u00f3 la recuperaci\u00f3n de este deporte en un momento en el que Suiza hab\u00eda perdido su independencia tras la invasi\u00f3n francesa. El objetivo de este festival no fue otro que<strong> fortalecer el sentimiento nacionalista Suizo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El Schwingen servia para que los hombres de un valle se midieran con los hombres de otros valles. El punto de encuentro m\u00e1s importante era el \u201cBr\u00fcnig Pass\u201d, donde los luchadores de la Suiza central se median a los de la regi\u00f3n Bernesa para decidir cual era el m\u00e1s fuerte.<\/p>\n<p>A lo largo del siglo XIX, la lucha suiza se introdujo en las ciudades con la creaci\u00f3n de Festivales de lucha y adquiri\u00f3 gran popularidad. En poco a\u00f1os se hab\u00eda convertido un pasatiempo de pastores en el Deporte Nacional Suizo.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Las reglas del Schwingen<\/strong><br \/>\nLos luchadores visten unos pantalones cortos especiales por encima de su ropa que sirven para que ambos se agarren entre si. Originariamente estos eran los <strong>pantalones que los pastores vest\u00edan a diario<\/strong> y los enrollaban hacia arriba para los combates.<br \/>\nLos combates son a un solo asalto de 10-12 minutos.<\/p>\n<p>El ganador es aquel lanza a su oponente de espaldas y consigue que ambos hombros toquen el suelo sin dejar de agarrar los pantalones de su rival. La Federal Wrestling Alpine Games Festival es la competici\u00f3n m\u00e1s importante del pa\u00eds. Se celebra cada 3 a\u00f1os durante dos d\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00bfSchwingen prohibido?<\/strong><br \/>\nA pesar de su actual popularidad el Schwingen fue prohibido en algunos periodos del siglo XVI y XVII.
