El MdS es una carrera por etapas en la que la organizaci\u00f3n solo proporciona una jaima comunitaria para pasar la noche y la raci\u00f3n de agua diaria. <strong>Cada participante porta toda la comida, ropa y saco de dormir<\/strong> que necesitar\u00e1 durante los 6 d\u00edas de competici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3>El primer MdS<\/h3>\n<p>El creador de esta prueba fue el franc\u00e9s Patrick Bauer que en 1984 atraves\u00f3 el desierto del Sahara a pie en solitario, recorriendo 350 km durante 12 d\u00edas en completa autosuficiencia. Dos a\u00f1os m\u00e1s tarde en 1986 se cerebro el primer \u201cMarathon des Sables\u201d en el que participaron 23 corredores.<\/p>\n<h3>M\u00e1s de 1.000 runners de todos los rincones del mundo<\/h3>\n<p>La carrera celebr\u00f3 este a\u00f1o su edici\u00f3n 28 y se ha convertido en una de las carreras m\u00e1s m\u00edticas del mundo. A pesar de su dureza m\u00e1s de 1.000 runners se enfrentan cada a\u00f1o a las arenas del Sahara. Conseguir una plaza se ha convertido en una dif\u00edcil tarea y <strong>son muchos los que nunca consiguen realizar su sue\u00f1o <\/strong>y tomar la salida de esta terrible prueba.<\/p>\n<h3>Una experiencia inolvidable<\/h3>\n<p>Al terminar la \u00faltima etapa del \u201cMarathon des Sables\u201d, habr\u00e1s corrido el equivalente a <strong>5 maratones y medio<\/strong>, sometido a unas dur\u00edsimas condiciones y transportando tu propia comida. <strong>El MdS es un reto incre\u00edble<\/strong>, en el que podr\u00e1s comprobar de que material est\u00e1s hecho.
