Set a Healthy Example
Your kids will model your behavior, so first of all you need to be active and healthy. That includes not only exercise but your diet and daily habits.
Exercise as a family
Take them with you to exercise as a family as much as possible. Run while they ride their bikes or bike all together, swim, walk, even share your Gym training or Yoga session. When they grow older it will become a part of their routine and a way of life.
Do not compete with them
Don’t stress your kids with unnecessary goals or objectives. Enjoy spending time with them and dont push them beyond their limits. Remember that this should be a game for them not a competition.
Teach them to find Peace in Nature
Whether it’s a hike or skiing or cycling through a forest preserve, teach them to value nature and be kind to it. This is one of the most valuable gifts you can do to your children.
